Endorsing Your Endeavors Electronic Notary Public and Notary Public services are in full compliance with the Illinois Secretary of State guidelines. All pricing follows the maximum allowable fees set by Illinois law (5 ILCS 312/3-104).
You’ll always know the fee before any notarization begins.
Some services may be offered at no charge, at our discretion.
Travel or convenience fees may apply for mobile visits (agreed upon in advance).
Electronic & Remote Notary Services (E-Notary / RON)
Illinois law allows notarizations to be performed electronically using state-approved platforms with secure digital signatures, seals, and (if remote) audio-video technology.
Maximum State Fees (per electronic act):
- Electronic Notarial Act – $25
- Remote Online Notarization (RON) – $25
- Copies of Journal Entries or Recordings – Reasonable cost recovery fee
🔐 Electronic acts are capped at $25 per notarization, as set by Illinois law.
Traditional (In-Person) Notary Services
All in-person notarial acts require the signer to appear before the notary with valid government-issued identification.
Maximum State Fees (per notarial act):
- Acknowledgments – $5
- Jurat / Oath / Affirmation – $5
- Verification or Affidavit – $5
- Certified Copies (when permitted by law) – $5
- Notarial Act – $5 maximum per act
- Travel / Convenience Fee – Variable (quoted and agreed in advance)
💡 Illinois law sets the cap at $5 per traditional notarial act. You will never be charged more for the notarization itself.
📍 Travel fees cover mileage, time, and scheduling. They are separate from the state-capped $5 notarial fee.
